Cornwall remains today one of the few unspoilt regions of the country. Enjoying a temperate climate it is a delight to explore. Beautiful fishing villages cling to the coastline with their decorated terraced houses providing a splash of colour.

The city of Truro with its magnificent cathedral is well worth a day visit and offers excellent shopping. Penzance the last town before Lands End, is steeped in history. Amble down Chapel Street and soak up the feeling of yesteryear at the Egyptian House, a maritime museum, antique shops and even spy the smuggler on the roof of Admiral Benbow pub. From Penzance you can hop over to the floral beauty of the Isles of Scilly either by plane or helicopter or sail on the Scillonian, the main supply vessel to the Islands. Back on the mainland you can take advantage of many of the best beaches in the country. They abound along the south coast from the Lizard to Land's End. Porthcurno, with its white sand and aqua blue sea, can even fool you into believing that you are in the Caribbean. Hundreds of feet above the beach is the famous Minack open air theatre carved out of the cliffs with awesome views over Porthcurno and towards Logan Rock in the distance. Cornwall is everything a family holiday should be
